NBA Player Dillon Brooks Arrested for Marijuana DUI

Phoenix Suns forward Dillon Brooks was arrested for driving under the influence of marijuana during a traffic stop in Scottsdale on March 6, 2026, at approximately 1:00 AM. Scottsdale Police pulled over Brooks on Scottsdale Road during what began as a routine traffic stop.

According to bodycam footage, the arresting officer reported that Brooks' vehicle smelled like a marijuana dispensary. The NBA player, who is currently sidelined with a fractured hand, cooperated fully with officers during the investigation.
