Florida Mother Arrested for DUI with Suspended License
A Florida mother of four was arrested on DUI charges after deputies found her sitting at a gas pump with her engine running in Martin County on a Friday afternoon. The Martin County Sheriff's Office responded to a 911 call reporting a woman sitting through green lights at an intersection.
Deputies located the woman parked at a gas station with her window down and engine running. During the interaction, she exhibited signs of impairment and provided conflicting information to officers.
When asked about her location, the suspect named three different cities, none of which were correct. She told deputies she had a valid driver's license but handed over an identification card instead. The woman also claimed her medication was prescribed, but the pills in the bottle did not match the prescription label.
The incident occurred in Martin County, Florida, and was captured on deputy body cameras. The footage shows the woman's apparent confusion about her whereabouts and inability to provide accurate information to law enforcement.
Investigators determined the woman was driving with a suspended license at the time of the incident. She was taken into custody and processed on multiple charges related to impaired driving and driving with a suspended license.
According to court records, the case was adjudicated in January 2026, with the defendant found guilty on three charges stemming from the incident.
