Intoxicated Woman Has Breakdown at Florida Airbnb
Flagler County Sheriff's Office deputies responded to an Airbnb rental property after reports of a heavily intoxicated woman causing a disturbance. The woman, identified only as Emily, had returned to the residence without her phone or vehicle.
According to the incident report, Emily told responding officers she could not remember how she had gotten back to the Airbnb. She believed her friends had abandoned her in Daytona Beach earlier that evening.
Bodycam footage shows Emily in a visibly intoxicated state, appearing confused and distressed about her situation. Deputies worked to piece together the events of the evening while attempting to calm the situation.
The woman's missing personal belongings, including her phone and car, added to the complexity of the call. Officers had to determine whether any criminal activity had occurred or if this was simply a case of excessive alcohol consumption.
Deputies spent time at the scene trying to locate Emily's friends and understand the circumstances that led to her being separated from her group. The incident highlights the dangers of excessive drinking and the importance of staying with companions during nights out.
The Flagler County Sheriff's Office has not released additional details about any charges filed or the ultimate resolution of Emily's missing phone and vehicle.
