During the encounter, one woman physically grabbed an officer and subsequently spat on him, prompting her immediate arrest. As officers attempted to escort the suspect from the scene, the second woman interfered with the arrest process by physically obstructing officers and refusing to be handcuffed.

Additional officers were called to the scene to assist with both suspects, who continued to resist arrest efforts. The interference by the second woman led to her arrest as well, as she refused commands and actively resisted officers' attempts to take her into custody.

The incident, which began as a simple civil matter over a golf cart rental, resulted in both women being taken into custody. The primary suspect faces three felony charges and two misdemeanor charges related to her assault on the officer and resistance to arrest.
