Woman Drives Drunk Back to Home Deputies Removed Her From

A woman was arrested on DUI and related charges after driving back to a residence she had just been escorted away from by deputies, according to body camera footage obtained through a public records request.

Deputies were initially called to the home late at night after a report of an intoxicated and belligerent guest who refused to leave the property. Body camera footage shows deputies attempting to resolve the situation without an arrest, offering the woman a ride home and even offering to walk her home since she lived only a few houses away.

The woman eventually left the property without incident, and deputies appeared ready to clear the call. Within minutes, however, she got behind the wheel and drove back to the same home.

Footage shows the vehicle nearly striking a deputy on scene before the woman fled in the car. She was pursued briefly before abandoning the vehicle and running on foot. Deputies took her into custody a short distance away.

The woman refused to submit to a breath test at the scene. She was arrested and faces charges including driving under the influence, fleeing and eluding, and resisting arrest.

The agency involved has not been publicly identified in connection with this footage, which was released through a public records request and published without narration. The video shows the full sequence of events as captured by deputy body cameras, from the initial call to the final arrest.

The case remains subject to further legal proceedings, and formal charges will be determined through the local court system.
