Man Arrested After Bowling Alley Fight, Battery on Deputy

Zeenen Cobb, 41, of Palm Coast was arrested on November 29 after deputies responded to a reported assault and battery at Palm Coast Lanes just before midnight. The Flagler County Sheriff's Office received a 911 call about two men engaged in a physical altercation outside the bowling alley.

When deputies arrived at the scene, the caller pointed out the men involved in the fight. Deputies spoke with the victim, who appeared to have significant injuries from the incident. They then approached Cobb, who initially claimed nothing had happened and that the men had made peace.

Cobb became uncooperative during the investigation, refusing to provide identification to deputies and growing argumentative. When a deputy attempted to secure him, Cobb resisted by pulling away from the officer. The situation escalated when Cobb attempted to strike the deputy who was trying to de-escalate the confrontation.

During the struggle, Cobb tripped and grabbed the deputy, pulling the officer to the ground with him. Additional deputies quickly responded to assist their colleague and were able to place Cobb in handcuffs. The incident occurred in the parking area outside the popular Palm Coast bowling establishment.

Cobb faces charges related to both the initial altercation at the bowling alley and the subsequent battery on a law enforcement officer during his arrest.
