Teen Drops Drugs at Deputy's Feet During Party

Eighteen-year-old Kalissa Markley was arrested at a late-night mud bog party in Flagler County, Florida, after dropping a bag containing cocaine and methamphetamine directly in front of responding deputies. Flagler County Sheriff's Office deputies arrived at the power lines location to shut down the outdoor gathering when they discovered Markley passed out in the passenger seat of a red Nissan.

Deputies observed a bottle of Grey Goose vodka and smoking paraphernalia on the vehicle's floorboard. When ordered to exit the car, Markley walked past the hood and dropped a clear plastic bag containing 2.05 grams of cocaine and 2.54 grams of methamphetamine on the ground.

A subsequent search of the vehicle yielded additional contraband including 13.21 grams of marijuana, 42.25 grams of hashish, nearly 100 grams of cannabis extracts, a digital scale, unknown crystal substances, glass pipes, a bong, and additional alcohol. Personal items belonging to Markley, including mail and financial documents, were found mixed with the illegal substances.

The vehicle's registered owner, identified as Taylor, arrived on scene and claimed the drugs belonged to a third individual named Paisley who had allegedly been dropped off earlier. Multiple occupants began making conflicting statements about ownership of the contraband.

Markley faces charges including possession of cocaine, possession of methamphetamine, possession of marijuana, possession of hashish, possession of drug paraphernalia, tampering with evidence, and underage possession of alcohol.
